scott's last ride for a while

so, scott is moving to utah. that is a bummer. but it's pretty cool too. a good place to settle down, lots of fun to be had. so yeah. thus we had a nice group ride out at sugar last tues evening. i met scott out at 4.30, with the intention of doing a lap, and then meeting the others that would be showing up during the 6 o'clock hour. but when i got there, i learned scott's wife had had a flat. so off we went to mend that situation.

we packed up a grill scott was gracious enough to give us for next year's apt. then returned to sugar. and met up right quick like with bren and john. shortly after right quick like, matt showed up to join us. and we all made ready, and rolled off into the sunset. i was on the single again. turns out i like single-speeding. we had a nice ride, and headed in to old chicago for an evening of cheap pizza and beer. lots of folks showed up and we were there decently late (by my early-to-bed standards!)
